Salon manageress

Today in my work experience session i was the salon manageress so I made sure that the salon was tidy and clean and that all the jobs were done for example refilling products and doing the laundry. I was assessed doing this today, so i just have another salon manager assessment left to do.

Micro-current assesment

 I completed an assessment in micro-current in Wednesdays work experience session, this is my first assessment i have completed and I am happy to say I passed this assessment. My next assessment will be after half term and i am for this to be a full body massage.

Today I did my first micro current facial on a client in my work experience session, she has now booked in for a 5 week block of micro current facials. Here is me doing the facial.

IBD gel polish in the heart space

This week we went back into the heart space to offer ibd gel polish again . This week we started at the earlier time of 12 so that we would be there over the dinner hour we hoped that this would get us more clients however it was still unsuccessful as we didn't get any clients. next week i will be working in the college salon rather than doing the gel polish.

As part of my work experience every other week we go into the heart space and do ibd gel nails for £10. So far we haven't had much success as we have only had one clients over the past 2 weeks, so we are now changing the time we do it to dinner time hoping that this will attract more people.

Today in my work experience session I did an Eve Taylor facial with a hand and arm massage on a client.

I am currently a Level 3 Beauty therapy student studying at Chesterfield College, I will be doing 10 weeks work experience and I will be updating my blog after every session.
